Upright meaning
One person collects swords as two others walk away beneath a stormy sky. What has been won in an argument, and what has been lost—trust, cooperation, dignity, or time? In another context, the card can signal the need to leave a harmful competitive environment.
Reversed keywords
Reconciliation · withdrawing from a fight · enduring resentment
Reversed meaning
There may be an opportunity to end an exhausting dispute, or someone may remain invested in being superior to others. Reversal does not establish that either side is wholly right.
